March to be held for Narin in Diyarbakır
The murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran, whose lifeless body was found after 19 days in Diyarbakır, has sparked widespread outrage across the country. A march for Narin will be held this evening in various parts of the country, primarily in Diyarbakır.
The lifeless body of 8-year-old Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of Diyarbakır's Bağlar district, was found today.
A protest march will be held in Diyarbakır for Narin Güran.
The march, led by women's organizations in Diyarbakır, will be attended by members of parliament, provincial and district organizations of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) and the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), municipal co-mayors, as well as representatives of civil society organizations in the city.
The crowd will gather at 19:00 in front of the DBP Diyarbakır provincial building and march to Dağkapı Square to demand that the perpetrators be punished.
