According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain and showers expected in the south and east of Marmara, the Aegean coast, the Mediterranean (except Burdur), Central Anatolia (except Konya, Aksaray, and Karaman), the Western and Central Black Sea, the west of Southeastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Kırklareli, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Uşak, Giresun, Gümüşhane, and Bayburt, and with thunderstorms expected in Marmara and the Aegean coast.

Precipitation is expected to be heavy in Istanbul, the western districts of Balıkesir, the east of Antalya, the surroundings of Osmaniye, the western parts of Hatay, and the surroundings of Ankara, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Yozgat, and Sivas. Haze and occasional fog are expected in the northern, central, and eastern parts during the morning and night hours. There is an avalanche risk in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the north and east of Eastern Anatolia.

MARMARA

It is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with intermittent showers and thunderstorms in the south and east and the surroundings of Kırklareli. Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Istanbul, heavy in the west of Balıkesir, and locally severe in the Edremit district. The wind is expected to blow from the south and southwest, strong and occasionally in the form of a storm (50-80 km/h).
