Meteorology: Air temperatures will be above seasonal norms

The General Directorate of Meteorology has published the weather forecast report for Saturday, October 28, 2023. It is estimated that the Marmara region will be partly to slightly cloudy, with local showers expected in the vicinity of Kırklareli. In the Aegean Region, it is expected to be partly to slightly cloudy, with coastal areas becoming locally very cloudy and experiencing local showers. According to the warning issued, strong winds from southern directions are expected in the Marmara region and the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea starting this evening and throughout the night. Local haze and fog are expected in the interior parts during the night and morning hours.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE TODAY?

It is estimated that there will be no significant change, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms in the northern, interior, and western parts, and around seasonal norms in other areas.

STRONG WIND WARNING

Since the wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from southern directions in the Marmara region and the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea this evening and during the night, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against potential negative consequences.
