According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy, with rain expected on the coasts of Rize and Artvin, and sleet and snow expected in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and the surroundings of Hakkari.

Patchy fog and mist are expected in the western parts during the morning hours.

There is a risk of avalanches in the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea region and in the north and east of Eastern Anatolia. Meanwhile, air temperatures are expected to rise by 2-6 degrees across the country.
