Meteorology issues heavy rainfall warning for 5 provinces
The General Directorate of Meteorology has published its latest weather forecast for August 12. According to the statement made by the Meteorology, heavy rainfall is expected in 5 provinces.
The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has released a new weather map and issued warnings.
Warnings for local showers and thunderstorms have been issued for the south of Iğdır, and the surroundings of Muş, Bitlis, Van, and Ağrı.
METEOROLOGICAL OUTLOOK
According to the assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northeastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts (except Samsun) and the surroundings of the south of Iğdır, Muş, Bitlis, Van, and Ağrı, while other areas are expected to be slightly cloudy and clear.
AIR TEMPERATURE: It is estimated that there will be no significant change in air temperature, and it will continue to hover above seasonal norms in the interior parts of the country.
WIND: It is expected to blow generally from the north, and from the south on the Mediterranean coasts after noon, light to occasionally moderate.
