Meteorology issues warning for 6 provinces including Istanbul: Storm expected tomorrow
According to the statement made by the Meteorology 1st Regional Directorate, strong winds and a storm are expected in the Marmara Region tomorrow.
In a statement issued by the Meteorology 1st Regional Directorate's Istanbul Regional Forecast and Early Warning Center, it was stated that strong winds and a storm (50-80 km/h, locally up to 90 km/h in the region) from the south and southwest (lodos) are expected tomorrow in Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Yalova.
The statement warned citizens to be careful and take precautions against potential negative impacts such as disruptions in transportation, roofs being blown off, and poisonings caused by stoves and natural gas.
