Meteorology issues warning for 9 provinces for tomorrow: Sleet is coming
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for heavy sleet and snowfall for 9 provinces in the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions for tomorrow.
According to the forecast made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rain and downpours will be seen tomorrow in the vicinities of Siirt, Batman, Şırnak, Bingöl, and Muş, while heavy sleet and snowfall will be seen in the high altitudes of Bitlis and Hakkari, the vicinities of Erzurum, the east of Şırnak, and the high altitudes of the north and south of Van.
Citizens are advised to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as floods, disruptions in transportation, icing and frost in high altitudes, as well as strong southerly winds and short-term storms.
