Meteorology issues warning for heavy rainfall and dust transport in some regions of the country

According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, starting after tonight, heavy, and in some places very heavy, downpours and thunderstorms will be effective in Adana, Mersin, Osmaniye, Hatay, and Gaziantep, and starting from tomorrow morning, in the surroundings of Kahramanmaraş and the south and east of Kayseri, as well as in the eastern districts of Adana and the coastal areas of Hatay.

Due to the precipitation, it is necessary to be careful and take precautions against negative conditions such as floods, water inundation, disruptions in transportation, lightning, local hail, and strong winds during rainfall.

DUST TRANSPORT IS COMING

Additionally, dust transport is expected after tonight in the east of the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as in Eastern Anatolia and the west of Southeastern Anatolia.

For this reason, it was requested to be cautious against negative conditions such as reduced visibility and a decrease in air quality.
