Meteorology issues warning for three regions: Downpours expected!

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, it is estimated that the country will be partly to very cloudy, with precipitation expected in the Eastern Mediterranean, Eastern Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Istanbul, Kayseri, Sivas, and Tokat.
The precipitation is expected to be in the form of downpours and thunderstorms, being strong in the Eastern Black Sea, Eastern Anatolia (except Malatya), and the eastern part of Southeastern Anatolia, and locally very strong in the surroundings of Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin; it is expected to be sleet and locally snow in the higher parts of the inner Eastern Black Sea and the higher parts of the eastern sections of Eastern Anatolia. The wind is expected to blow strongly (40-60 km/h) from the south and southwest in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia.
Patchy fog and mist are expected in the inner regions during the morning hours.
MARMARA
It is estimated to be partly to mostly clear, with light downpours expected in the surroundings of Istanbul during the morning hours. Patchy fog and mist are expected in the south and east of the region during the morning and night hours.
