According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be partly to very cloudy overall. Intermittent rain and occasional thunderstorms are expected in the southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, the Black Sea region, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, as well as the surroundings of Mersin, Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, and Hatay. Sleet and snow are expected in the higher elevations of the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.

Precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Eastern Black Sea, as well as in the surroundings of Ordu, Tunceli, Bingöl, Elazığ, the northern parts of Diyarbakır, Bitlis, Şırnak, Siirt, and Van.
