According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the northern and eastern parts of the country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with showers and occasional thunderstorms in the northeast of Marmara, the Black Sea coasts, and the southeast of Eastern Anatolia, while other areas are expected to be partly cloudy and clear. 

Precipitation is expected to fall as sleet and snow in the high altitudes (1800 meters) of the Eastern Black Sea region's inner parts, and to be locally heavy in the surroundings of Sinop and along the Central and Eastern Black Sea coasts. 

Mist and occasional fog are expected in the south of Marmara, the inner Aegean, the inner parts of the Western Black Sea, and the west of Central Anatolia during the morning and night hours.

MARMARA

It is estimated that the surroundings of Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Sakarya will be partly to very cloudy with showers. Mist and occasional fog are expected in the southern parts of the region during the morning and night hours.
