According to the forecasts made by the General Directorate of Meteorology: The northern and eastern parts of our country are expected to be partly to very cloudy, with local showers and thunderstorms expected in the high inland areas of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, and Rize, as well as the eastern districts of Van during the afternoon, while other places are expected to be clear and sunny.

Air temperatures are expected to remain above seasonal norms in the southern and inland parts, and around seasonal norms in other places.

The wind is expected to blow from northerly directions, light to occasionally moderate, and strong (40-70 km/h) from the north and northeast on the coasts of the Marmara and North Aegean.

In the MGM report, a yellow alert was issued for Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, Bursa, Tekirdag, Balikesir, Edirne, Canakkale, Kirklareli, Manisa, and Yalova.
