Yellow alert from Meteorology for 13 cities including Istanbul! Temperatures to drop by 8 degrees suddenly

According to the latest assessments made by the General Directorate of Meteorology, the country is expected to be mostly cloudy and rainy overall. 

The precipitation, which is expected to be generally in the form of showers and occasional thunderstorms, and as sleet and snow in the inner and high parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northern parts of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Western and Eastern Black Sea, the surroundings of Bursa, Osmaniye, Ordu, Tunceli, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Şırnak, Siirt, and Batman, as well as the coasts of Hatay.

HEAVY RAIN WARNING

Since the precipitation is expected to be locally heavy in the coastal areas of the Western and Eastern Black Sea, the surroundings of Bursa, Osmaniye, Ordu, Tunceli, Bingöl, Muş, Bitlis, Şırnak, Siirt, and Batman, as well as the coasts of Hatay, it has been stated that one should be careful and cautious against negative conditions such as flash floods, flooding, lightning strikes on the coasts, strong winds during precipitation, and disruptions in transportation.
