Passengers inside the vehicle were evacuated by the metrobus driver. Upon notification by officials, fire crews were dispatched to the scene, and the fire was extinguished following their intervention.

Due to the fire, there was congestion at the station for a while, but traffic returned to normal after recovery vehicles towed the metrobus away.
