MHP Chairman Bahçeli's statement on the 'Iran crisis': We must be prepared for any scenario

Bahçeli made a new statement regarding the US-Israel-Iran conflict. Addressing the incident where two missiles fired from Iran landed in Turkey, Bahçeli said, "We will not bow to any threat," and warned, "As the military, political, and economic burden of the US-Israel partnership increases, the danger accumulating around us will intensify further. We must be prepared for any scenario."

Touching upon the tension in the Middle East, Bahçeli stated that the military, political, and economic costs of the partnership between the United States and Israel are rising.

Bahçeli noted that this situation is leading to increased objections, particularly within their domestic publics, regarding a potential war with Iran, stating, "As the military, political, and economic burden of the US-Israel partnership increases, and especially as categorical objections from their domestic publics regarding a war with Iran rise, the danger accumulating around us will intensify further. We must be prepared for any scenario."

Emphasizing that tension in the region must be reduced, Bahçeli called for a ceasefire, stating, "While there is still time, a ceasefire regime must be implemented. Hands should unite for the purpose of reconciliation instead of being on the trigger."

Bahçeli stated that otherwise, Iran could turn into a long-term and costly conflict zone for the US-Israel partnership, adding, "Otherwise, Iran could turn into a new Afghanistan, a new Iraq, or even a new Vietnam for the US-Israel partnership."
