MHP leader Bahçeli's notable November 10 message: 'Atatürk's political leadership...'

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has issued a message on the anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

In his "November 10" message, Bahçeli said, "The Turkish nation, just as it did yesterday, will not bow before any power today, will not surrender to aggressive impositions, and will not compromise on the honor of its destiny or the brilliant ideals of its future."

Bahçeli used the following expressions in his message:

"We commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect on the 86th anniversary of his passing into eternity. The dear Atatürk was a mortal human; his life was both numbered and limited. However, the magnificent works, immense legacies, exceptional services, and honorable struggles he left behind will maintain their existence in the collective conscience and national memory forever.

Proving to everyone that a nation can never be destroyed as long as its determination and will to live together and independently are not broken, Atatürk, who became an example for the independence struggles of oppressed nations, had a strong foresight as one of the primary characteristics that made him the genius of the century.

Atatürk intervened without delay in every kind of overt or covert cruel plot aimed at the existence of the Turkish nation, and subsequently triggered the national awakening, fueling the torch of liberation.

He pursued a policy that was based on being independent in every field, did not compromise on national interests, and did not take a step back against oppression and captivity, causing the whole world to look at Turkey with envy. He is the historical and national common value of the Turkish nation, the founding decree of the Republic of Turkey, and its founding dignity."

"ATATÜRK'S POLITICAL LEADERSHIP MUST BE TAKEN AS A LESSON"

"Atatürk's military and political leadership, especially during the years of the National Struggle, the events he was exposed to throughout his life, and the difficult periods experienced must be learned very well by every Turkish citizen and taken as a lesson in the same way.
