MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's call regarding İmamoğlu: 'It must be decided upon urgently'

MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made notable remarks regarding the judicial process of Ekrem İmamoğlu. Bahçeli stated, 'It is important that the ongoing court process concerning Ekrem İmamoğlu be handled and concluded swiftly.'

"Conducting politics by classifying and extending it into categories of friend and foe, completing it to the detriment of national and spiritual values, and advancing by violating the binding nature of the constitution and laws will lead to massive cracks in law and democracy, and even grave distortions.

The Republican People's Party (CHP) has accelerated its politics of crisis, chaos, and turmoil—for which it holds the patent—accompanied by unbridled ambitions, with the aim of dragging our Turkey into such darkness.

At a time when extraordinary developments are taking place in the world, cards are being reshuffled, and political, commercial, and economic arm-wrestling between power centers is intensifying, the CHP leadership's search for a place to plunge a dagger is pure lack of principle and complete lack of judgment.

The empty rhetoric and increasingly insulting tone of this party's prominent tainted figures have turned into an unbearable burden, to the point of reaching the threshold of treason.

It is evident that the CHP Chairman has lost his self-control, disregarded his political honor, and derived his audacity from his ignorance and arrogance.

Resorting to words, acts, and actions that no politician who loves their country and nation and bows to the rule of law would desire or attempt is as much a manifestation of shameful politics as it is a revelation of moral and political breakdown.

It should not be considered an exaggerated, incidental, or baseless assessment to say that the CHP's headquarters building has unofficially, in absentia, and illegally moved to Silivri like a shanty town.

The fact that the CHP Chairman, who tries to unfairly and shamelessly smear the Presidential Government System with propaganda about a 'one-man regime' based on stupidity, and his political and ideological supporters are officially and openly following someone who is becoming a 'one-man' himself is a tragicomic example of a farce.

For the CHP Chairman to target a known and important judicial process and members of the judiciary in squares inspired by mobilized and ordered forced crowds is not only extremely wrong but also a simple and vulgar political sleight of hand.

It is understood that the CHP's ultimate goal is the outbreak of internal rebellion, political and social anarchy, which they want to build upon calls for street protests and boycotts.

'THEY WILL NOT SUCCEED IN THEIR DIRTY AMBITIONS'

However, neither the CHP nor the external occupation front that commands this party will ever succeed in their dirty ambitions.

The court processes regarding the suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is in Silivri Prison due to allegations of theft, bribery, and corruption surrounding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, must be heard and decided upon urgently.

Prosecution stages must be completed by ensuring the full addition of witness statements, clear and genuine evidence, as well as other relevant information, documents, and findings to the case file; if suspect Ekrem İmamoğlu is innocent, his acquittal, or if not, his sentencing, must be ensured in a manner consistent with the collective conscience, and absolutely in the shortest time possible.

Our noble nation is not obligated to listen to and watch absurd views, thoughts, and posts about a self-proclaimed corruption perpetrator on television screens, newspaper pages, and social media platforms morning and night.

There is essentially no citizen of ours with a sound mind and conscience who will tolerate the CHP Chairman's politics based on his obsession with being a 'one-man' and his origins.

It has never been seen or heard of that a suspect who is the perpetrator of terrifying allegations is released or gets released from prison by collecting signatures.

Moreover, the idea of a country going to early elections by collecting signatures is a product of the realm of imagination and contradiction, and is null and void.

'WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF HE COLLECTS 100 MILLION SIGNATURES?'

What will happen, what will come of it, and what use will it be if Özgür Özel collects 100 million signatures?

If a roof of rebellion and occupation is intended to be built with the film of a signature campaign, those involved must be prepared to pay the price for this legally and politically in a severe manner.

Democracy and law are not sealed with fabricated, flimsy signatures, but are inherent to and sealed by the will of the noble nation.

The 'preference poll' the CHP conducted while determining its presidential candidate is also a spectacle.

For this party to talk about a 'democracy revolution' by making its members vote in an election held with a single candidate is a new version of a farce theater.

Furthermore, the number of votes cast for our President is exactly 18.2 times that of those who voted in the CHP's so-called democracy revolution.

Özgür Özel claimed that 1 million 653 thousand people voted from among CHP members, and 13 million 844 thousand people voted in solidarity ballot boxes, announcing the total as 15 million 497 thousand people.

However, the number of votes our President received on May 28, 2023, is 27 million 834 thousand 589; the vote percentage is 52.18 percent.

It is evident what kind of helplessness, deficit, shortcoming, and inadequacy even the deceptive counting method the CHP is accustomed to from the single-party era—'open voting, secret counting'—confirms.

The People's Alliance is capable of confronting the hypocritical, ambitious people who sit at the gambling table regarding Turkey's future and their evil games on every front, and overcoming all of them.

Özgür Özel complaining about our country to foreigners is a sign that he has opened his eyes to mandate-seeking politics, and there will certainly be a democratic price for such a disgrace.

While the spring and peace climate of a terror-free Turkey is being established step by step, while the world's diplomatic pulse is beating in Antalya, and while a will that is listened to in regional and global politics is constantly rising, the CHP's disruptive politics is the result of hostility and malice.

This terrible result has no value or worth in the eyes of the Turkish nation.

Özgür Özel's spoiled and unconscious politics will fail.

The Republic of Turkey will not be surrendered to the CHP mentality, which consists of bankrupt, corrupt, and hypocritical political peddlers clinging to the skirts of foreigners.

It is the great Turkish nation that will demonstrate this will and desire to the end."
