One of these provocations is taking place in Pınarbaşı, Kayseri.
In Pınarbaşı, where the vast majority of votes have been counted, poll workers for CHP mayoral candidate Deniz Yağan—who, according to Anadolu Agency, is leading his closest rival, MHP candidate Memduh Uzunluoğlu, by a margin of approximately 8 percent—were attacked at the Pınarbaşı Courthouse.
MHP MP IGNITED THE FUSE
The fuse for the incident was lit by MHP Kayseri MP Baki Ersoy.
Despite CHP candidate Deniz Yağan leading the election, Baki Ersoy declared that the MHP candidate had won the Pınarbaşı Municipality.
In a post on his Twitter account, Baki Ersoy said, "CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR BELOVED PINARBAŞI!" and added, "Our People's Alliance Pınarbaşı Mayoral Candidate Menduh Uzunluoğlu has been re-elected as Mayor in our beloved Pınarbaşı."
THEY ARE TRYING TO USURP THE ELECTION!
People's Alliance supporters, led by Baki Ersoy, attacked CHP members who were monitoring the election results. The verbal and physical assault by MHP and AKP members, who refused to accept the election results and their defeat, in the courthouse corridors was also captured on camera.
