Military vehicle overturns in Malatya: 1 soldier martyred
One soldier was martyred and another was injured in a military vehicle accident that occurred in the Akçadağ district of Malatya.
In a tragic incident in the Akçadağ district of Malatya, First Lieutenant Tuğrul Özsu was martyred and Specialist Sergeant İbrahim Göz was injured after a military vehicle overturned. Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz stated on social media, "I wish God's mercy upon our martyr; patience and condolences to his grieving family, and a speedy recovery to our injured Specialist Sergeant."
The Ministry of National Defense also issued a statement regarding the accident, saying, "In the traffic accident that occurred in Malatya, our heroic comrade-in-arms, Air Defense First Lieutenant Tuğrul Özsu, has been martyred. We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."

Following the accident, teams arriving at the scene performed the necessary interventions for the treatment of the injured soldier. It was reported that an investigation into the incident has been launched.
