Minibus and car collide on Şanlıurfa-Bozova road: 12 people hospitalized
In a traffic accident between Şanlıurfa and Bozova, 12 people were injured after a car rear-ended a passenger minibus. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
The incident occurred around noon at the 22nd kilometer of the Şanlıurfa-Bozova highway. According to reports, the car driven by Taha S. rear-ended the minibus driven by Recep A., which was traveling in the same direction, after the driver lost control of the steering wheel.
The force of the collision left the car totaled, and a total of 12 people in the minibus and the car were injured. Other drivers who witnessed the accident immediately notified the authorities. Following the report, police, gendarmerie, medical, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
After medical teams provided initial intervention to the injured at the scene, they transported them to various hospitals. It was stated that the injured individuals undergoing treatment are not in life-threatening condition.
An investigation into the accident has been initiated by security forces.
