Minibus crashes into tree and overturns in Kocaeli

In the accident that occurred on Hamit Kaplan Boulevard in the Esentepe neighborhood, a minibus whose driver's name could not be learned lost control and crashed into a tree and a billboard on the side of the road.

CITIZENS HELPED THE INJURED

While the minibus overturned due to the force of the impact, a passenger named E.E., the driver, and another passenger whose name has not yet been learned were injured. Citizens in the vicinity who witnessed the accident rushed to help the injured. Upon the notification made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were dispatched to the address.

ONE PERSON IS IN CRITICAL CONDITION

The injured, who were trapped in the minibus, were extracted by fire department crews. The 3 injured, who received their first intervention at the scene by health teams, were transferred to Kocaeli City Hospital and a private hospital.

The overturned minibus was removed from the road by a tow truck. The billboard was damaged due to the accident.

On the other hand, it was learned that E.E.'s health condition is critical.

The police have launched an investigation into the accident.
