The decision of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the Minimum Wage Determination Commission decision published in the Official Gazette, the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which is tasked with determining the minimum wage for all types of workers employed under an employment contract, whether or not they are covered by the Labor Law No. 4857, in accordance with Article 39 of the Labor Law No. 4857 and Article 522 of Presidential Decree No. 1 on the Presidential Organization, continued its work, which began on December 10, until December 24 and held 4 meetings.
As a result of the 4 meetings held, it was decided by the unanimous vote of the participants, despite the non-participation of worker representatives, that the minimum wage for a worker's one day of normal work for the year 2025 be set at 866 Turkish Lira and 85 kuruş, and that the minimum wage support be re-determined as 1000 Turkish Lira.
