Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan shared a statement regarding the Palestine motion passed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM).
In a post on his social media account, Minister Fidan stated, "Our Grand Assembly convened today for our Palestinian brothers and sisters.
The cry of the children in Gaza has ignited a spark in the conscience of humanity. That spark will grow and become the pioneer of a more powerful transformation," he said.
Stating that Turkey will continue to be the voice of the oppressed, Minister Fidan said, "Under the leadership of our President, our country has become the loud voice of justice and conscience.
As Turkey, we will continue to be the pole star that guides the way for the construction of a more just order.
We will continue to be the hope of the oppressed and the adversary of the oppressor from now on as well," he expressed.
