Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş announced that police officer Musa Erdem, who served on her close protection team, was martyred as a result of a traffic accident while on duty.
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated in a post on her social media account, "Our hearts are heavy with the news that our valued colleague and brother, police officer Musa Erdem, who served on our close protection team, has been martyred as a result of a tragic traffic accident while on duty."
MINISTER GÖKTAŞ ANNOUNCED
Göktaş used the following expressions:
"I wish God's mercy upon our martyr, and offer my condolences and patience to his precious family and all my colleagues. May his place be heaven and his rank be high. It is our duty to honor his cherished memory and look after his family, who are entrusted to us. May we have strength."
