Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı stated that the fight against forest fires is ongoing, noting, "11 aircraft, 27 helicopters, 171 water tenders and construction equipment, and 972 personnel have been dispatched to the ongoing fires in Selçuk, Menderes, Torbalı, Menemen, and Çeşme in İzmir."
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı shared a video post regarding the forest fires on his social media account X.
Emphasizing that the fight against forest fires continues, Yumaklı made the following remarks:
"11 aircraft, 27 helicopters, 171 water tenders and construction equipment, and 972 personnel have been dispatched to the ongoing fires in Selçuk, Menderes, Torbalı, Menemen, and Çeşme in İzmir. From the very first moment the fire started, the heroes of the forest have been continuing their self-sacrificing struggle."
