Israel warning from Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler: 'An attack is possible, we must be prepared'

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler answered questions regarding the current agenda from journalist Kübra Par on TV100. Minister Güler made statements regarding the possibility that Israel could pose a direct threat to Turkey and President Erdoğan's 'Internal Front' warning.

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler responded as follows to a question regarding President Erdoğan's 'Internal front' warning and his statements that 'Israel's next target will be Turkey':

"I am of the opinion that our President is very right. Because we always need an internal front. Even if we are in an environment of peace, the strength of the internal front is to a country's advantage. That is why our President is warning the entire society. Because he sees this. Will Israel attack Turkey? Would our President express such a thing if he did not see such a danger? Of course, it could attack."

'WORLD WAR III COULD BREAK OUT AT ANY MOMENT'

Of course, we do not want a war to break out, but we must always be prepared. We are responsible for the security of the great Republic of Turkey and the Turkish nation. We will use every means available and evaluate every possibility. The possibility of war may exist; we evaluate everything down to the finest detail and make our plans, but we want to live in peace in our own country.

TUSAŞ ATTACK

Answering the question from journalist Kübra Par, 'Do you find the timing of the TUSAŞ attack significant?', Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler said, "Of course, I find the timing significant. In this incident, our domestic and national defense industry, which is related to the peace of our country and our nation, has been targeted. Especially our TUSAŞ is a facility that is the apple of our eye in our defense industry. Every product produced here emerges as the apple of our eye in our defense industry and is preferred. We look at all of them as our future. Of course, this attack is not a coincidence."

The Steel Dome is a system of systems. We have low-altitude air defense systems below, almost all of which have been produced. We are already using them. We have medium-range air defense systems, these are also being produced; as soon as we complete the numbers of our Siper, Hisar, and other low-altitude air defense systems, imagine that all of these are controlled by one software, that is the name of the Steel Dome."
