Operation message from Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler: 12 more terrorists neutralized

Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler delivered an operation message via the ministry's social media account.

In the post, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler addressed pilots following successful air operations against terrorist targets in northern Iraq and Syria, which he directed and managed from the Air Force Operations Center, stating the following:

"OUR WILL TO TAKE REVENGE FOR OUR CHILDREN IS ABSOLUTE"

"My esteemed comrades-in-arms and colleagues, I greet you with love and respect. Last night, unfortunately, 6 of our heroic children serving in the Claw Operation region were martyred, and 7 of our heroic comrades-in-arms were wounded.

Today, 6 of our heroic children were also martyred in a clash in the Claw-Lock Operation region. 6 of our heroic comrades-in-arms were also lightly wounded.

Our heroic children reached the rank of martyrdom while performing their duties with superior courage and sacrifice as the sacred defenders of our beloved homeland. I pray for God's mercy upon our martyred comrades-in-arms, wish a speedy recovery to our wounded, and extend my condolences to their grieving families and our noble nation. Our pain is great. However, our will to take revenge for our children is absolute. We have not left the blood of our martyrs on the ground to this day, and we will not.

Indeed, while 13 terrorists were neutralized last night, 12 members of the separatist terrorist organization were neutralized today. Thus, the number of terrorists neutralized since the beginning of the year has reached 2,156. No member of the treacherous terrorist organization will be able to escape the grip of the heroic Mehmetçik. Let no one have any doubt about this.

To date, in the fight against terrorism; heavy blows have been dealt to the terrorist organization through our successful operations carried out domestically and across the border, and the organization's mobility has now been brought to the point of collapse. This attack has once again shown that the dying, treacherous terrorist organization is in its final throes. Our operations will continue with an offensive mindset, with increasing intensity and pressure, until the bloodthirsty terrorists are wiped off this geography, regardless of who supports them.

Tonight, terrorist targets in Iraq and Syria were struck with great success by our heroic pilots. We will continue with determination from now on. The greatest share in all the successes we have achieved in the fight against terrorism belongs to our dear martyrs and heroic veterans. We will protect the cherished memories of our martyrs; we will always remember their sacrifices with gratitude and appreciation.

On this occasion, I once again pray for God's mercy upon our heroic comrades-in-arms who were martyred in the Claw and Claw-Lock Operation regions. I also wish a speedy recovery to our wounded children. I wish you, my esteemed comrades-in-arms and colleagues, successful duties. May your sword be sharp, and your determination and effort be constant. Stay well..."
