Minister Şimşek announced: Regulation on tax justice and informality to be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey
Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek announced that a regulation aimed at increasing justice and efficiency in taxation and combating tax informality will soon be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM). Şimşek also shared the information that the plan for a stock market transaction tax has been shelved.
Minister Şimşek announced that a new regulation regarding the fight against tax informality will soon be submitted to the TBMM.
The statement made by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek on social media is as follows:
"The package containing tax regulations aimed at increasing efficiency and justice in taxation and reducing informality will soon be submitted to the TBMM. In line with the feedback received from all relevant parties, we are postponing the draft tax study regarding the stock market for a while in order to re-evaluate it."
