Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that 2 million 464 thousand 169 vehicles were inspected between May 23 and May 30. As a result of the inspections, a total of 415 thousand 795 vehicles or drivers were processed.
According to the information shared by Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya, 2 million 464 thousand 169 vehicles were inspected by Police and Gendarmerie Traffic Teams between May 23 and May 30.
Action was taken against 312 drivers who used devices with light or sound warning signals (sirens/flashers) on vehicles not permitted by legislation.
A total of 415 thousand 795 vehicles and drivers were processed, including 112 thousand 26 for speeding violations, 23 thousand 309 for failing to have periodic inspections, 15 thousand 382 for not using seat belts, 13 thousand 964 for driving without a license, and 8 thousand 940 for lacking mandatory liability insurance, along with other violations.
