Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced that the individual who shared a video on social media of himself firing into the air during a military send-off party, endangering citizens nearby, has been apprehended and taken into custody.

In a post on his social media account titled 'Action Taken-5', Minister Yerlikaya stated, "The 20-year-old individual identified as S.Ö., who appeared on social media firing into the air under the guise of a 'military send-off party,' has been apprehended and taken into custody by our teams from the Esenler District Police Department's Public Security Bureau. We will never allow those who risk the lives of innocent people by firing into the air. I congratulate our police officers who apprehended the individual and delivered him to justice."
