Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced the details of the Kafes-48 operations on his social media account.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced in a statement on X that the organized crime group known as the Gülbaharlar had been dismantled as part of the Kafes-48 operations.
Yerlikaya stated the following:
"In the 'KAFES-48' operations, which were carried out simultaneously in 4 provinces, namely Şanlıurfa, Mersin, Ardahan, and Istanbul, 16 suspects who were members of the Organized Crime Group, including the group's leader Celal Gülbahar, were apprehended!"
