"In the first 6 days of the holiday (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), unfortunately, 57 of our citizens lost their lives. 6,533 of our citizens were injured. Our Police and Gendarmerie traffic teams are continuing their inspections throughout the holiday. On the 6th day of the holiday, Thursday, April 3, 2025, our traffic teams inspected 599,476 vehicles. Speed and radar procedures were applied to 22,892 vehicles, and other procedures were applied to 41,922 vehicles. Our inspections are continuing without interruption. Our personnel are working day and night to prevent accidents. Holidays are the most special moments we share with our loved ones. Let us be careful in traffic so as not to turn these happy days into sorrow. Roads exist to bring us together, not to separate us. I wish God's mercy upon our citizens who lost their lives and a speedy recovery to our injured."
