Minister Yerlikaya explains details of TUSAŞ attack! 'One of the terrorists blew themselves up!'

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya made statements regarding the terrorist attack on TUSAŞ. Explaining the details of the treacherous attack, Ali Yerlikaya stated that one of the terrorists blew themselves up.

Fourteen minutes after the attack, special operations teams arrive in two armored vehicles. Gendarmerie and police special operations units move there rapidly. In the shortest time possible, 730 gendarmerie and police units arrive. Air assets also head to the region. At 15:30, the female terrorist destroys herself. At 15:52, the team arriving in the armored vehicle heads toward the male terrorist near the academy building. 17 heroes enter there; the panicked terrorist throws 2 hand grenades. He starts running upward in the building. A clash begins there.

"THERE WAS NO HOSTAGE SITUATION"

The courage of the police operation prevented a hostage situation from occurring there. The panicked terrorist gets trapped in a restroom. At 16:40, knowing there is no way out, he blows himself up there. 5 of our friends were slightly injured. There were no injuries among any special operations or gendarmerie personnel.
