Minister Yerlikaya issues warning for rainfall, floods, and inundation
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya stated that it is important for citizens to remain cautious against potential negative consequences such as floods, inundation, and landslides due to the extreme rainfall expected tomorrow.
Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya shared a post on his social media account regarding the extreme rainfall expected across the country tomorrow.
Pointing out that the General Directorate of Meteorology has issued an "orange" alert for Balıkesir, İzmir, Manisa, Aydın, Muğla, Mersin, and Antalya, and a "yellow" alert for Çanakkale, Bursa, Bolu, Karabük, Kastamonu, Sinop, Çorum, Osmaniye, Hatay, Samsun, Amasya, Tokat, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, Kahramanmaraş, and Adana due to extreme rainfall, Yerlikaya stated the following:
"It is of great importance that our citizens do not let their guard down against negative consequences such as floods, inundation, and landslides that may occur due to extreme rainfall. Our 112 Emergency Call Center will be on duty 24/7. May God protect our country and our nation from all kinds of disasters."
