Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç made the following statement on his social media account:
"Regarding the meeting titled '1st Ordinary Congress of the Youth Assembly' organized by the DEM Party in Diyarbakır on 24.12.2023, a judicial investigation initiated by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against suspects for the crimes of 'praising crime and criminals' and 'making propaganda for a terrorist organization' is ongoing. Detention orders have been issued, and apprehension procedures have been carried out for a group of suspects."
