Ministry announces investigation into abuse allegations

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Services regarding the news about "the famous doctor alleged to have abused his son," it was stated: "The slightest suspicion of abuse against children is treated as a formal report by us. A psychosocial support process has been initiated for the child and the mother. The legal process is being followed."

The statement reported that following the news coverage in some media outlets, meetings were held with the child and mother who were the subject of the reports.

The Ministry's statement further noted:
