Ministry of National Defense announces sad news: 1 soldier martyred
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) has reported that one soldier was martyred as a result of a weapons accident in the Olive Branch Operation region.
The statement made by the MSB is as follows:
"In the Olive Branch Operation region, on September 11, 2024, our heroic comrade-in-arms Infantry Specialist Sergeant Onur ÇAPAN was martyred as a result of a weapons accident.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation."
