Ministry of National Defense announces sad news: 1 soldier martyred
MSB: Petty Officer Ufuk Akıncı has been martyred in a terrorist attack in the Claw-Tiger region.
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) reported that a soldier who was wounded as a result of harassment fire opened by the PKK in the Claw-Tiger operation region has passed away in the hospital where he was taken.
The statement made by the MSB included the following:
"Our heroic comrade-in-arms, Combat Engineer Petty Officer Third Class Ufuk Akıncı, who was severely wounded as a result of harassment fire opened by members of the separatist terrorist organization in the Claw-Tiger operation region, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital and was martyred on January 23, 2025."
