Ministry of National Defense announces sad news: One soldier martyred
The Ministry of National Defense reported that Infantry Specialist Sergeant Hikmet Aslan, who was wounded in a harassment fire opened by terrorists in the Operation Claw-Lock region, has been martyred.
In a statement released by the Ministry, it was stated: "Our heroic comrade-in-arms, who was wounded as a result of harassment fire by terrorists in the Operation Claw-Lock region on April 9, 2024 (today) and subsequently transferred to the hospital,
Infantry Specialist Sergeant Hikmet Aslan, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital where he was receiving treatment and has been martyred."
The statement expressed condolences and patience to the grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and the nation, while wishing for God's mercy upon the martyr Aslan.
