Statement on martyrs from the Ministry of National Defense: "Despite all interventions, one of our comrades-in-arms could not be saved and has been martyred"
The number of soldiers martyred in the clash with members of the terrorist organization has risen to 6.
Five soldiers had lost their lives in the clash with members of the terrorist organization in the Claw-Lock operation region.
In the statement by the MSB, it was stated that eight soldiers were also wounded.
The MSB issued a new statement, reporting that the number of martyrs has risen to 6.

One of our comrades-in-arms, who was seriously wounded in the clash that broke out with terrorists attempting to infiltrate one of our base areas in the Claw-Lock Operation region on January 12, 2024, could not be saved despite all interventions and has been martyred. Operations continue in the region.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation.
