Ministry of National Education to establish innovative classrooms in 3,500 schools

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies has launched an initiative to establish innovative classrooms in 3,500 middle and high schools across all provinces, where active learning and digital technology tools are integrated.

The classrooms will feature state-of-the-art 3D printers with high-speed printing capabilities, as well as 10 robotic coding kits each to support coding education.

As part of the project, 1,500 existing information technology laboratories in all provinces will be renovated, and 1,500 new information technology laboratories will be established based on the innovative learning environment model.

Additionally, innovative classrooms with flexible and modular designs, enriched with technological equipment, will be created in 500 schools. These classrooms will be used to support student-centered active learning processes in alignment with learning outcomes across all subjects.
