Ministry of Trade steps in: Proceedings initiated against 990 companies

PROCEEDINGS INITIATED AGAINST 990 COMPANIES
During the ministry's inspections, legal proceedings were initiated against 990 companies found to have implemented price increases above market conditions. The scope of the inspections included the most preferred products for school shopping, such as notebooks, pens, erasers, and bags.
15 MILLION LIRA FINE
A total of 15 million 241 thousand 124 liras in administrative fines were imposed on companies engaging in unfair price increases.
