Ministry puts 1,659 plots of land up for sale!
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change has put a total of 1,659 plots of land across the country up for sale. It was noted that a total of 57 plots in the earthquake zone were also included in the sale.

According to a report by Birgün, it was stated that the plots will be sold via an auction running from February 27 to March 1, with a 24-month installment plan. A 20 percent discount will be applied for those who pay in cash. Of the plots to be sold, 45 are located in Istanbul and 75 in Ankara. Additionally, 38 plots will be sold in Maraş and 19 in Antep, both of which were hit by the earthquake. The highest number of plots, 214 separate parcels, were put up for sale in Van.
DESIGNATED AS TOURISM FACILITIES IN ZONING PLANS
Some of the plots to be sold have been designated in zoning plans as vineyard/garden areas, tourism facility areas, and agricultural areas. It was noted that one plot to be sold in Artuklu, Mardin, is designated as a park area in the zoning plans.
The Ministry previously announced that 314 plots in Samsun were also put up for sale. The sale of the plots located in the 19 Mayıs, Alaçam, Atakum, Bafra, Havza, and Tekkeköy districts of Samsun will take place on February 23.
The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change had previously announced that 276 plots in Malatya, which was hit by the earthquake, would be sold on February 26.
