According to the information received, 80-year-old Senem Ç. went to a brushy area on Mehmet Zaman Street in the Çaydamar neighborhood during the night to collect trash. 50-year-old Serment B., thinking the sounds coming from the area were from a wild boar, fired his rifle after receiving no response despite calling out several times.

Senem Ç., who was wounded by the gunshot and taken to Zonguldak Atatürk State Hospital, could not be saved despite all interventions.

It was stated that S.B. fainted upon seeing that he had shot the woman, and after regaining consciousness, he called the police to report the situation and was subsequently taken into custody. The suspect was referred to the courthouse following his processing at the police station.
