According to information obtained from security sources, in the presentation made by MIT Chief İbrahim Kalın to CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and his accompanying delegation, information was shared on the ongoing fight against the terrorist organizations FETÖ, PKK/KCK, and DAESH, and the struggle strategy followed by the National Intelligence Organization against terrorist organizations was explained. It was emphasized that the MIT has many areas of operation such as organized crime, cyber espionage, counter-intelligence, regional conflicts, and global threats, and that it spends intensive effort on these work topics to protect national security. The efforts carried out by the MIT to prevent the formation of a terror corridor on Turkey's Syrian and Iraqi borders were also touched upon.

Sources reported that during the meeting, it was stated that efforts would continue with all means and capabilities within the framework of the strategy to end terrorism at its source, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
