The MIT has neutralized Hezal Belge, a so-called leader of the PKK/YPJ who was planning a suicide bombing attack in Turkey, in the Amuda region of Syria.
The MIT has neutralized Hezal Belge, one of the so-called leaders of the terrorist organization PKK/YPJ, who was identified as planning a suicide bombing attack in Turkey, in the Amuda region of Syria.

According to information obtained from security sources, the MIT determined through its intelligence operations that the terrorist codenamed "Jinda Gundikramo," Hezal Belge, who is on the gray category of the "Wanted Terrorists List" and serves as the so-called leader of the PKK/YPJ in the Amuda region, was planning a suicide bombing attack in Turkey.
Belge, who was on the MIT's target list, had repeatedly postponed several attempted attacks due to the active preventive measures taken by security forces in Turkey. The terrorist Belge, who was finally located in Amuda, was neutralized in a pinpoint operation.
It was also determined that the terrorist was attempting to organize the Syrian public to ensure their participation in the terrorist organization. Joining the rural cadres of the terrorist organization in 2004, the terrorist Belge operated for many years as a so-called leader of the PKK/KCK in northern Iraq.
Later moving to Syria and operating as a so-called leader of the PKK/YPJ, Belge was wounded in the head during a clash in 2021. After receiving treatment in the city of Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, Belge returned to Syria and was most recently operating as the so-called Amuda leader of the PKK/YPG.
