The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Lokman İsmail, a so-called leader of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization, in an operation conducted in northern Iraq. The terrorist, who had been active within the PKK/KCK for 30 years, was the planner of attacks in Şırnak and Adana.
As a result of precise operations conducted in northern Iraq, MIT determined that Lokman İsmail was the primary so-called leader within the terrorist organization's Self-Defense Units structure. An operation decision was made for the Syrian-national PKK/KCK member İsmail. Thanks to intelligence from MIT's field agents, it was determined that PKK/KCK member Lokman İsmail was in northern Iraq.

PKK/KCK member Lokman İsmail was the person who organized attacks against Turkish security forces during the trench-barricade incidents that occurred in Şırnak between 2015 and 2016.
Furthermore, it was also Lokman İsmail who gave the orders for the bombing attack carried out by Syrian nationals against two automobiles in Seyhan, Adana, in 2019.
