32-year-old police officer Murat Kına, a married father of two serving at the Reyhanlı District Police Department, collapsed after falling ill while playing soccer with friends at a turf field in the Yeni neighborhood. While his colleagues rushed to help Kına, medical teams were dispatched to the scene following a report.
Police officer Kına, who received initial intervention from medical teams and was taken to Reyhanlı State Hospital, could not be saved despite all efforts. The moments when Kına collapsed while playing soccer on the turf field were captured on camera.
Kına’s funeral, which was held with a ceremony at the Reyhanlı District Police Department, was laid to rest at the Reyhanlı Asri Cemetery following the funeral prayer. At Kına’s funeral, the moment his son kissed his father’s photograph broke hearts.
