Moscow attackers' Turkey testimony revealed: They stayed at a hotel in Fatih

In Moscow, the capital of Russia, new details have emerged regarding the attack that claimed the lives of 139 people, which was claimed by ISIS.

According to information obtained from security sources, it was determined that two of the attackers had been residing in Moscow for a long time and had come to Turkey because they needed to leave Russia to extend their residency permits.

It was stated that the attackers, who did not have any "wanted" records against them, were able to travel between Turkey and Russia using their passports.

THEY STAYED AT A HOTEL IN FATIH

It was determined that one of the attackers, Shamsidin Fariduni, entered Turkey from Russia by air on February 20, stayed at a hotel in Fatih, Istanbul, and then returned to Russia from Istanbul Airport on March 2.

It was determined that the other attacker, Saidakram Rajabalizoda, arrived in Istanbul on January 5, stayed at a hotel in Fatih for a while, and later returned to Moscow on the same flight as Fariduni.

It was stated that in his preliminary testimony upon being captured, Fariduni confessed that he had traveled to and from Turkey because his visa had expired.
