Mosque's storage room consumed by flames
In Burdur, a fire that started in a chimney left the mosque's storage room in ashes.
The incident occurred during the night in the village of Kağılcık in the Karamanlı district. According to information obtained, a fire broke out for reasons yet to be determined in the chimney of the annex building of the Aşağı Mosque.

Upon notification by locals who saw the fire to the 112 Emergency Call Center, fire department and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
The fire, which was intervened in by fire crews from the Karamanlı, Tefenni, and Kemer districts as well as villagers, was extinguished towards morning after long efforts.

While no damage occurred to the mosque itself in the fire, the storage room was completely burned and rendered unusable.
